To help give you a better idea of how your day will look and help you in your planning process, here is a timeline of how our Private Dinner Tour generally plays out.

1:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Pickup Time

Our tour guides are so excited to start the days adventure, so they want to make sure to show up on time for your group.

    As a Private Tour, it’s all about you! We skip the hassle of coordinating with other groups, picking a time that suits you and heading straight to your first winery visit.

2:00 pm

We Arrive At The First Winery

Bring on the wine! We begin the tour visiting one of our premier winery partners to explore some of the flavours our iconic wine country is known for.

    You'll taste 3-4 different wines and learn about their unique characteristics and what went into making them. Fun will be had and then we'll head out on route to our second stop.

2:45 pm

Winery #2 - Gourmet Cheese & Wine

This is the perfect time for a little mid-afternoon snack. Our second winery provides a gourmet cheese sampler during your next wine tasting.

    You'll get a chance to try 3-4 more wines and pair them with premium meats & cheeses and really hone your taste buds as you level up your sommelier skills.

3:30 pm

Our Third Winery Visit

After a short drive, we continue our tour at another excellent winery.

    You'll learn, laugh, and you'll love the carefully selected wine samples as you begin to become a bit of a wine connoisseur with all your new found knowledge.

4:30 pm

We Arrive At Our Last Stop

We like to end things with a bang! You know, to keep things memorable and such...

    This visit can include the "save the best for last" wine tasting, a "lets switch things up" special seasonal offering, or whatever else our expert wine guides have up their sleeves. Whatever happens, you will not be disappointed!

Dinner Time

We arrive at one of Niagara's premier restaurants, offering an elevated dining experience that invites you to unwind and reflect after a day well spent.

    Raise your glass, toast to new memories, and enjoy the lingering tastes of Niagara's finest wines and cuisine.

7:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Drop Off

You've got full bellies, your buzz is under control and now you can take a nap or go out for a good night on the town!

    We are so happy you decided to spend the day with us and we can't wait to see you again!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When does my card get charged for the tickets?

    This is simply a request to book. Tickets will not be charged at the time of booking this request. Once approved, all Private Tour tickets will be charge to the card on file 6 weeks prior to your scheduled tour date.

      We have a 14 day full refund policy. If you cancel within the 14 days of your scheduled tour date, we will be happy to reschedule your tour according to our availability.

  • Can I select which wineries to visit on the tour?

    Our expert tour guides select the wineries for you, based on the planned tour path and availability. Rest assured, you will visit the very best that Niagara wine country has to offer.

      We have fantastic relationships with our winery partners and they really come through for our guests and always deliver a VIP experience.

  • Can we bring a cooler with us on the bus?

    Short answer, no. The Cellar Door Experience is fun, entertaining, and classy. We are not a "booze cruise" and we like to make sure each tour goes off without a hitch.

      Plus, we've designed our tours to minimize time on the bus so you can spend more time tasting great wines with our winery partners. Trust us, there will be no shortage of food or drink!

  • What vehicle will we be taking?

    Our private tours cater to groups of all sizes, offering luxurious travel for 2-4 in our premium Lexus SUV or larger groups in our 14-passenger vans or 24-passenger bus, with coach options available.

      All vehicles are meticulously maintained for a clean, comfortable experience tailored to your needs.

  • What happens if it rains?

    Rain or shine, Cellar Door Wine Experience is always an excellent time.

      Please dress comfortably and wear weather appropriate shoes.

  • What about my dietary restrictions?

    Vegetarian and Vegan options are available upon request. During the booking process, there is a section that asks you if you have any dietary restrictions. Let us know there.

      Once your booking is complete, our phones will ding and we will be notified of any special requests. We will get to work right away to make sure you have a safe & delicious tasting experience.

  • Private Tour Payment/Refund Policy?

    We require all Private Tour Bookings to be paid in full 2 weeks prior to your scheduled tour start time. We may charge the card on file up to 6 week prior based on seasonality requirements. This is to ensure we can set things up with our winery partners in advance and with enough notice as wine country books up fast. We can work with you to make sure we collect payment at a time that is convenient for you upon request.

      All Saturday Tour Bookings are subject to a 2 week cancellation policy. There will be no refunds if you cancel within 2 weeks of your scheduled date, however, we will gladly reschedule your tour for a later date based off of our tour availability.

    Our group of friends had a fantastic time (despite the rainy weather). Doug, our driver, was amazing! The variety of wines was extensive and there was a clear winner (the Peach at Klonzelmann). I actually purchased the non-alcoholic ticket, as I wasn't drinking that day, and I still had a fabulous time! I was given a different drink at each of the 4 stops (mango mimosa, water, grape juice and coke). Would definitely do another tour. However, dinner took a very long time at The Old Winery. We waited over an hour for our food and then my meal was forgotten and I had to continue to wait...almost another 30 minutes! Overall, it was a fun experience and our group of friends really enjoyed ourselves.
