We’ll take you to two beautiful boutique wineries where you’ll enjoy guided tastings of 3-4 wines at each stop, stroll through the vineyards, take some beautiful pictures and enjoy a charcuterie pairing that complements your wine tasting experience.

10:30 am - 10:45 am

Pickup Time

Our tour guides are so excited to start the day's adventure, so they want to make sure to show up on time for pickup. Everyone gets picked up and dropped off right in the heart of Old Town, making it easy to hop on and off during your next stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

    Pickup is outside the Old Angel Inn at 244 Regent St, Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake.

11:00 am

We Arrive At The First Winery

Bring on the wine! We begin the tour visiting one of our premier winery partners to explore some of the flavours our iconic wine country is known for.

    You'll taste 3-4 different wines and learn about their unique characteristics and what went into making them. Fun will be had and then we'll head out on route to our second stop.

Winery #2 - Wine Tastings & Charcuterie

After a short drive, we continue our tour at another excellent winery where you'll try 3-4 new wine tastings and discover a different side of what Niagara wine country has to offer.

    This is the perfect time for a light bite. Our second winery provides a gourmet charcuterie pairing to enjoy alongside your tastings, before we head back for drop-off.

Drop-Off

We're so glad you spent the morning with us, and we can't wait to welcome you back again.

    We aim to return everyone right in the heart of Old Town, with the whole afternoon still ahead of them to explore Niagara-on-the-Lake as they wish.

  • Can I select which wineries to visit on the tour?

    Our expert tour guides select the wineries for you, based on the planned tour path and availability. Rest assured, you will visit the very best that Niagara wine country has to offer.

      We have fantastic relationships with our winery partners and they really come through for our guests and always deliver a VIP experience.

  • How many people are on the tour?

    Our vehicles carry 14-24 passengers. We will depart for the scheduled tour regardless how many people have booked for the day.

      You may end up making some new friends on a shared tour experience, or you could get a private tour if no one else has booked with us at the same time as you.

  • Can we bring a cooler with us on the bus?

    Short answer, no. The Cellar Door Experience is fun, entertaining, and classy. We are not a "booze cruise" and we like to make sure each tour goes off without a hitch.

      Plus, we've designed our tours to minimize time on the bus so you can spend more time tasting great wines with our winery partners. Trust us, there will be no shortage of food or drink!

  • What happens if it rains?

    Rain or shine, Cellar Door Wine Experience is always an excellent time.

      Please dress comfortably and wear weather appropriate shoes.

  • What about my dietary restrictions?

    Vegetarian and Vegan options are available upon request. During the booking process, there is a section that asks you if you have any dietary restrictions. Let us know there.

      Once your booking is complete, our phones will ding and we will be notified of any special requests. We will get to work right away to make sure you have a safe & delicious pairing.

  • What if I don't want to / can't drink on this tour?

    No problem! We offer a $30 discount on "No Alcohol Tickets"

      Simply select "No Alcohol Ticket" during the booking process for an automatic $30 off the standard ticket price.

    We had a great experience. Everything was beyond our expectation. Our driver, Randy, picked us up right at our Airbnb. We've met wonderful people, tasted different sort of wines to please everyone and everything went smoothly. We never had any kind of pressure during the visits of the winery and the restaurant at the end of the tour was awesome. I strongly recommend it.

    My wife and I had a great time sipping on wine from four great wineries. Doug with cellardoor tour made our experience even better. Very negligible of the area and all the wineries and wines. He kept all the wines purchased organized and easy to grab after our day. Well worth the money. A must do when visiting Niagara Falls
